DMCA and copyright
Last updated September 15, 2026
Musical Pig LLC respects copyright. PCGDB is a catalog: it does not host or distribute game software. Rights-holders can have a listing omitted from PCGDB pages. Use support@musical-pig.com for every copyright notice. There is no separate DMCA inbox.
1. What PCGDB displays
Third-party game titles, trademarks, logos, and store artwork belong to their owners. They appear here for identification and cataloging. PCGDB does not host full games, installers, or source code.
2. How to send a notice
Email support@musical-pig.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" and include all of the following so we can act:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact PCGDB URL of the material (for a game page, the Steam appid helps).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Designated agent: Copyright notices, Musical Pig LLC, support@musical-pig.com.
3. What we do
If the notice is complete, we will expeditiously omit or disable the listing on PCGDB pages. Sampled charts are append-only; omitting a title hides it from the catalog without rewriting history. We may tell the party who supplied the material, when that applies.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, write support@musical-pig.com with: identification of what was removed and where it lived; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was a mistake or misidentification; your name, address, telephone, and email; a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district of your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where Musical Pig LLC may be found); and your signature.
If the counter-notice is complete, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
5. False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
6. Repeat infringement
In appropriate circumstances Musical Pig LLC may terminate API or site access for repeat infringers.
